This website has been created to provide a confidential, remote Islamic divorce service for Muslims in London and across the UK, particularly for those who are experiencing delays or difficulties accessing a local Islamic council.

We accept and review applications for Khula/Faskh (Islamic divorce) and other forms of Islamic marital dissolution. Following review by qualified Islamic scholars, we provide Islamic rulings and, where appropriate, issue Islamic divorce certificates in accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah. We also offer guidance on marital disputes, reconciliation, and other family-related Islamic matters, with scholarly input from Saudi Arabia.

Our aim is to provide a clear, fair, and efficient service while encouraging reconciliation wherever possible and ensuring that all matters are handled with sensitivity and confidentiality.

Please note: This service deals with Islamic religious matters only. Any Islamic rulings, opinions, or divorce certificates issued by the London Shariah Council are religious in nature and do not constitute a UK legal divorce or replace legal advice, civil divorce proceedings, court orders, financial remedy applications, child arrangements, or any other legal process. If your marriage is legally recognised in England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, you must complete the relevant UK civil divorce process separately to legally end the marriage.
